Glossary

Optional on all HC boilers, this 208V electrically operated drain valve is controlled by a 24-hour time clock for automatic routine boiler draining. As water is changed to steam, solids are left behind eventually interfering with the water-level sensing controls and heating element. The Steamist HC-ABD-480/240V automatic drain is the first step in creating an effective preventative maintenance program. One Steamist HC-ABD automatic drain system per boiler. Consider the optional HC-TC 24-hour, 7-day programmable time clock for an on/off, truly automated steam boiler system.
