Curved wall in a modern steam shower

This image highlights some unique design characteristics. Firstly, it’s unclear if the curved wall was added as a design element or if it was required to accommodate something on the other side. Secondly, is the tile on the floor; this is something commonly overlooked during the design of a steam shower. The size of the tiles, as well as the height, can add additional traction when walking on surfaces that may become slippery. And lastly is the shower curb, located under the glass door in the above picture. The function of a shower curb is to keep water inside the enclosure while bathing. It should also be large enough to step on if necessary, but not harsh on the foot. Note the large pieces of stone with nice rounded edges.
