Uniquely built for the extreme heat and humidity of your steam shower, each BOSE-131 vapor-proof speaker features a full-range driver for high-fidelity sound and a more consistent sound field than even conventional speakers. The result…clarity and full performance of your music even in your steam shower!
BOSE-131 speakers are wall or ceiling flush mounted, compact and employ a 4-1/2” helical coil for rich high-fidelity sound. A polymer fiber composite driver cone and silicon-coated surround ensure high-quality, consistent and long-lasting sound reproduction regardless of the airborne steam shower vapor or water spray from overhead, body or shower fixtures. All this technology is encased in a high-impact polystyrene, polymer and ported enclosure to guarantee years of listening pleasure.
BOSE-131 Speakers require a 3-1/2” mounting depth and depending on the installation method, require a 5-3/8” or 7-1/8” diameter cut out (hole size is dependent on interior wall or ceiling accessibility). Grille color is Arctic White and measures 8” in diameter.
