This Pigtail 1/4” NPT 180-degree is required as part of the pressure control system on Mr.Steam’s Commercial CU model steam bath generators.

The Pigtail 1/4” NPT 180-degree made of copper is used as part of the pressure control system to prevent steam from getting into the gauge. Note that this fitting can accumulate with lime and cause the pressure controls to not function properly. This Pigtail should be cleaned during routine preventative maintenance.
