Valve, Water S101D 3/8 208/240, Steam Bath Part

Used on all residential steam generators beginning in the year 2009. This 3/8" 208/240V water feed solenoid valve is used to bring water into the steam generator tank. Once the water probes sense water is at the appropriate level in the tank, the valve will shutoff.

Incoming water supply connection is 3/8"FNPT. The water exit side of the vavle receives a 3/8"ID rugged hose with special retension ring. This valve has a flow rate of 0.73 to 0.93 GPM.

This is a normally closed valve, so to open it requires 208/240V connection. The generator PC Board has two blue wires that come from the PC Board and connect to the water solenoid valve with spade connections.

While failures are rare, there are two possible failures that might occur with this valve. Either mechanical where the valve body either does not open or remains closed, even if there is power to it or it is jammed open when there is no power to it. The electric failure, the valve is either open, no ohm reading, or shorted, low ohm reading. When the coil is shorted, it may blow a fuse on the PC Board or even damage the PC Board.

One (1) water solenoid valve 208/240V is required per steam bath generator

Note:  To preserve the originality, operation and safety of replacement parts, this product is not returnable.
