I have been toying with the idea of making my shower into steam.  The problem I have been told is my shower (3'x3'x6') isn't large enough.  Do you think I am being foolish and should wait till  I might be able to enlarge the area or do you believe I can still get a great bathing experience in this size area?  Does the size of the room really change the experience?

No!  - You are not being foolish;
Yes! - You can still get a great bathing experience in a 3'x3'x6'; and
Yes  - The size of the room can certainly enhance the experience

While there are 'comfort' advantages to having a larger shower area, the many physical, mental, and emotional benefits know no room size.

But there is no reason you can't have it all!  Consider purchasing a dual kilowatt generator, which can be used at a lower kilowatt now and then switched higher when you increase your room size, or one where the heating element can be upgraded to a larger size.  These features are available among the industry leading steam bath generator manufacturers and your choices would be determined by how large you plan to increase your room size.  Call a Steam Bath Specialist to help you select the right equipment for your project.

You KNOW you're going to thank yourself every time you steam bathe.

Per your suggestion I called Steamsaunabath for education.  I was very unsure what to ask...  What an enjoyable experience I had talking with them.  The customer service person (I believe his name was Brian) put me at ease.  He explained why the size of the room is not the determining factor in getting steam.  Brian went in depth to advise me of all the different options that were available to me.

I decided to leave my room size alone and not look to enlarge it at this time.  We chose a Steamist Dual Kilowatt system with a control.  I was then informed that no steam room should be without aroma.

Thank you for recommending we speak to a knowledgeable person.
