Title: Need a contractor to provide an estimate for a home steam shower
Post by: Michael on September 30, 2010, 05:17:59 PM
I have always wanted to have a steam room at home, like the ones they have a massage and spa businesses, and in some gyms and high-end hotels. I have an existing home in Lexington, SC. I'm wondering if it's possible to have a steam room constructed at my home, or whether it might be more practical to purchase one of those all-in-one steam shower units. The latter option seems to be a little on the small side, as I would prefer enough room to lay down, stretch out, etc. Is there a way to get a general ball park figure on cost? Do you have anyone in the Columbia/Lexington, SC area that could come over, take a look at my situation, and make recommendations?

Although building a steam room in your home may seem expensive, it is well worth the investment in the long run.
The modular units you noted typically come from China with no support in the United States.
