After an exhaustive search, we decided on a natural stone steam room.  The area size is 6'5"x4'5"x10' and my contractor said no.
Is it true the ceiling height is too high?  We have high ceilings on our house and wanted to take advantage of the room.

What would be a standard height and why can't we go 10' in height?

Lynn, i agree the look is great but in order to avoid long heat up times and the "rain shower" effect a 7-8' ceiling height is much preferred.
