Hello all!

Here are some quick tips for when you are designing your steam room.

If you are installling a fixed bench:
Use large tiles!  No one likes sitting on grout lines
Bull nose the edge.  Much more comfortable!
Add a slight downward (away from the wall) pitch.  Much less water collection or needing to sit in water.

Steam Door:
Always plan to have door open outward if using a swing door.  Think about this prior to ordering as you don't want your toilet or another fixture in the way.
Order this item last,  most steam door manufacturers custom build door frames to fit your opening so let them.  We guarantee it's much easier than making the  opening to fit the door!  Smiley

Other ideas:
All major manufacturers offer multiple finishes for controls, steamheads and towel warmers. Consider this prior to ordering.

Feel free to add any suggestions!
