Title: Amerec K24 option for steam generator
Post by: Amy on June 20, 2009, 08:36:23 AM
I see on your website, you offer a K24 with the Amerec product line.  I am a homeowner getting ready to purchase a system and was wondering how this K24 works.  Is it a control?  what are the benefits/drawbacks?

Amerec's standard timer is 60 minutes.
In cases where Health Clubs or Day Spas are using an Amerec steam generator, they may need the generator to run for 8 hours, 10 hours, 24 hours.
This K24 computer chip is primarily used in a Commercial Application.
It is extremely rare that a resident would need their steam shower to run for more than the standard 60 minutes.

I don't want to confuse the issue but since at least the beginning of 2011 all Amerec generators are shipping with a new all purpose PC board which allows the K & KT60 control to be converted to 24 hour programming.
Also the newer K200i and the T100 controls are also programmable.
