Title: can we use more than one steam head in our room?
Post by: Payton on January 25, 2010, 07:25:58 AM
Is there a reason why only one steam line is required to go to the shower?  We wants steam coming out from two sides of the room.  Is there a benefit to it coming out of one line?

Only one steam head per steam room is recommended unless the room is quite large or as otherwise specified by the manufacturer.

During operation, the steam outlet head will become extremely hot (+or- 212 degrees Fahrenheit) as it delivers steam in a downward and outward direction into the steam bathing environment. Additionally, the immediate surrounding area will reach extreme temperature levels.

Keeping the steam outlet to one location will enable the bather more space to move comfortably about the steam shower.  As a precautionary and safety measure, SteamSaunaBath always recommends the installation of a steam diffuser over the steam outlet head.  If your generator is correctly sized, it will heat your room appropriately.
