Title: Exhaust Fan inside steam shower
Post by: Lisa on August 10, 2009, 01:18:40 PM
I have read about steam room ventilation on your website and am considering purchasing the fan you offer on your website.  I would really like to install the fan inside the steam shower but see your website stating this should not be done.  If it is a inline fan, why couldn't it be place within the steam room?

Steam Sauna Bath strongly discourages the installation of a mechanical vent fan within the steam shower enclosure.  In addition to safety related concerns, these fans will not sustain within a high humidity environment and may prevent the steam room from heating as intended.  Read more about Steam Shower Ventilation (http://www.steamsaunabath.com/design/all-about-steam-rooms-and-steam-shower-design-bath-fans-and-ventilation.htm#venting) and call us toll-free at 800-707-2862 to review your ventilation needs.  We love to help create amazing bathing experiences.
