Title: HAMMAM ROOM SPA / BATHING
Post by: Kalle on January 26, 2010, 03:43:06 PM
How hot is this room and how is it used?
Do you know of any spas's that offer these rooms?

Traditionally, a Hammam consists of three interconnected rooms: a hot room or steam room which reaches up to 120º Fahrenheit, a warm room, and a cool room. The hot room is used for steaming and getting scrub massages, the warm room is used for washing up with soap and water, and the cool room is to relax and refresh.
Modern interpretations of these environments can be found in more progressive spas that are dedicated to experience bathing. I would suggest that you call nearby spas to find a location in your area which offers this amenity.
