Title: Is a water softener really important for a steam generator? Why?
Post by: Maria on March 20, 2009, 07:01:00 AM
There is so many different manufacturers of steam generators and some state use an water softner or water purification system other manufacturers don't say anything...

Can you please clarify if a water softner is a neccessity and what the benefits would be?  What would the ramifications be if a water softner was not used in the steam environment?  Would it then be unhealthy?

By the way, GREAT FORUM...  Reading the questions others have posed and the answers given provides me with a better understanding of bathing in this arena.
