Title: longest lasting aroma for steam shower
Post by: Payton on September 20, 2010, 07:35:56 AM
Why is it that some aroma's last in the steam room while others barely have any scent?  Is there a difference in the type of aroma for a steam room vs other applications?

There are many things that will affect aroma strength including product content, quality and how it is introduced into the environment.  For aromatherapy, you should use a high quality essential oil.  Many products are simply fragrances, have low quality or quantities of essential oils, or are cut with alcohol or similar additives.  Additionally, the most effective way to introduce essential oil into a steam shower environment is to mist it using an atomizing spray bottle (http://www.steamsaunabath.com/catalog/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=4oz&categories_id=75&inc_subcat=1&manufacturers_id=31&page=1&sort=4a) or an aroma pump designed specifically for essential oils (http://www.steamsaunabath.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=64_102&products_id=100833).
