Post by: Michael on July 10, 2009, 05:45:20 PM
I am in the process of building a sauna room in my basement. Can you tell me what the advantage of using hte Misty sauna heater is? will it be just a steam room with the heater turned off and just a sauna with the steam turned off? Can I put water on the rocks is i don't have the misty heater/

True sauna bathing always includes putting water on the heater rocks.

The Misty sauna heater is designed to enhance your sauna bath by offering two ways to add humidity to the environment.  Raising the humidity level of the sauna room far above what putting water on the rocks alone will safely achieve allows you to create a truly unique and personalized environment.  This is especially wonderful for multi-bather households.

Keep in mind that while the primary function of the steam generator attached to this heater is to enhance the humidity of the room, it will not replicate a steam room.  Read more about the Misty Sauna Heater ( for more information.
