Title: mood lights in steam room

I heard that mood lights (chromatherapy??) have been helpful in relaxation and healing.
Do you have any information on the benefits of having a mood light in my steam room? I'm trying to "sell" my husband on the idea, but don't know where to get the info.

The underlying concept is to impact the senses in a fashion that produces a feeling of wellbeing. We fill our lives with music, decor, and fragrances which please us, as we know that these choices affect us on a subconscious level.
Chromatherapy is the use of color for healing purposes. The use of chromatherapy is tied to the concept of Chakras, or energy centers, located within the body. These Chakras are represented by 7 colors which are associated with different physiological, emotional, and consciousness areas. The use of each color is believed to heal the areas associated with that energy center.
When you combine these sensory offerings (heat, color, music, and aromas) in such a personalized setting, you create a more complete therapeutic environment unrivaled in luxury. Reach out to a Steam Shower Specialist (http://www.steamsaunabath.com/catalog/project_coordinator.php) for more details.
