Title: Replacement Steamist generator
Post by: William515 on March 08, 2012, 03:16:15 PM
We have a Steamist LT-100 steam generator with a mechanical wind up timer on the outside of the shower and a air switch on the inside.  This unit has worked great over the years, but I'm afraid it has seen better days.  We are looking to replace it and due to budget, need to keep the timer and air switch.  Is there a Steamist unit that will work with a wind up timer and air switch?  Please help.  Thanks.

The mechanical timer and air switch units have been obsolete for quite some time and are no longer available nor is there any mechanical timer unit available.
All manufacturers have transitioned to low voltage digital controls.
For budget, you would have to look to the SM series of steam generators and SMC-150 control.  The new control mounts on the inside of the shower and you can use the current air switch location for the new control wire and actual control.
