A Brine Inhalation Room introduces Brine, water saturated with pure crystal salt, into the environment, typically through a mist, waterfall, or salt lamp.

Salt and Brine are therapeutic treatments introduced to the body through soaking bath, ingestion, inhalation, salt lamps, and topical applications frequently for:
  • treatment of respiratory ailments such as asthma, bronchitis, sinus and ear infections
  • alleviating allergies
  • reducing inflammation
  • balancing the pH factor of your body
  • ridding your body of heavy metals such as lead, mercury, arsenic and also calcified deposits
  • dissolving and eliminating sediments that lead to stones and various forms of rheumatism like arthritis and kidney and gall bladder stones
  • supplying the body with the natural energy stored in the crystals
  • harmonizing the alkaline/acidity balance in the body and normalizing blood pressure
  • lowering the craving for addictive desires
  • alleviating skin diseases
  • alleviating pain
  • rejuvenating and firming the skin
  • alleviating snoring
  • ionizing the water/air

Most people are familiar with Dead Sea Salts and their use in bath salts and scrubs.  Less familiar are Salt Caves which are quite common in Eastern Europe, where people with chronic conditions often spend up to 3 hours a day in “salt grottos”, and have been approved for medical use in Russia for nearly 15 years.  Salt Rooms of some fashion are also a common feature at cutting-edge respiratory treatment centers and Brine Inhalation is rapidly becoming a popular addition to spas/spa treatments.  Look online for a spa near you which features one of these environments.  As with any health regimen, you should always check with your doctor to be sure you are healthy enough for this activity.

Thank you for your reply. I found a spa Atlantis in NV that has a room:

brine light therapy inhalation lounge
Inhalation surrounded by light illusions brings the climate of an ocean shore.

Surrounded by soothing music a waterfall of Brine cascades over decorative stones, creating beautiful crystals and magical colors. While resting on the heated tile bench, your senses will be stimulated, both psychologically and physiologically by the specific colors reflecting over the water cascade. The ambience and inhalation of salt aerosols positively affect the respiratory tract to increase well being. Experience what Europeans have appreciated for decades as the color wheel rotates through the spectrum.
White - Refreshing, Amber - Calming, Blue - Soothing, Green - Peaceful, Red - Motivating.
