Title: Steam room thermometer
Post by: Michael on October 08, 2010, 10:29:10 AM
I operate a health club with a steam room. I seem to recall a few years ago that there was a thermometer that could be used inside of a steam room but I have searched everywhere and have been unable to find one. Do you have any recommendations? My members keep asking.

A thermometer in a Steam Room would be ideal.  However, we have yet to locate one that holds up to the heat & humidity of the steam room environment.
Also, the commercial steam rooms can have a very dense fog making it near impossible to read the interior thermometer.

The solution I can offer is a thermometer that mounts outside the room informing bathers of what the temperature is prior to entering.
