Lighting adjustments are an amazing enhancement to a steam shower.  However, I would not recommend installing a light switch inside the steam room for many reasons.

There are definitely ways to adjust your lighting during your steam bath but more detail is needed.  For starters:
  - Are the lights you are trying to turn off inside or outside of the steam shower environment?
  - Do you have lights inside the steam shower environment?

With the answers to these and a few other questions, a Steam Bath Specialist (http://www.steamsaunabath.com/catalog/project_coordinator.php) can help you find the best solution for your environment.
