Title: Vapor Barrier for steam room
Post by: Michael on October 28, 2010, 06:16:53 PM
I read on your site, that a steam shower should be constructed of 2' x 8"
joists covered by a vapor-proof barrier, concrete board and finished with ceramic tile. My question is specifically in relationship to the
vapor-proof barrier. What type(s) of barrier are you referring to?

A tile professional will know what is best for your application and they should be familiar with our recommendation of Mapei AquaDefense.  It's easy to use, you paint it on.
