We have a CU750 with auto blowdown and lately we have blown elements....it was mentioned to us we should de-lime the boiler as this may be what is causing the element to blow.  What are the proper steps for de-liming a boiler?

Please understand that for liability reasons we cannot direct you on how to delime a high voltage and pressurized vessel.  Especially through a forum.
It's best to speak with Technical Specialist at 800-707-2862.
We can tell you that if you have cleaned the tank and still keep blowing heating elements then it is likely your water probes and the copper isolation tubes the water probes sit in are likely limed up and causing a false sense of ground letting the boiler think that water is in the tank when it is not and therefore the elements dry file and blow out.
