Title: Steamist replacement element, SM2PB
Post by: Brad on January 27, 2010, 04:32:42 PM
I have  a very old Steamist SM2PB which I determined has a burned out element ( I am an electrician) and am wondering if i can replace the element. The machine operates off a mechanical timer and an air switch.

This unit has been discontinued and parts are no longer available.
Replacement is the option here and the replacement generator would be a model SM-5 and an SMC-150 control.
The SMC-150 control would install inside your shower where the air switch location is.
The SMC-150 is a nice digital control.
The mechanical timer outside the shower would be disabled.
