After reading several diferent sites about sauna bathing, we are a bit confused.  Are there different benefits of using a wood burning stove VS an electric sauna heater?  If so, what?

We are a commecial operation and were wondering why one would be chosen over the other or if one should not be used in this type of room and why?

You mentioned this is a Commercial application which brings "Safety First" to mind.
A wood burning sauna in a commercial application is opening up all kinds of liability concerns.  Members tamper with the room to begin with and would very likely tamper with wood.  Who would add wood when needed?  Who would stoke the fire?
I'm not sure an inspector would even allow this.

Best to stick with a UL approved electric sauna heater with rocks that provide for a much more consistent & safe performance.
