Hi.

I heard from my contractor that Steamist is a good steam generator to buy for a steamshowrer.

Do you have any info on their reliability, or know of any service problems they may have? I just want to make sure I buy a quality product.  Grin

Steamist is one of the Steam Bath Industry's leading manufacturers.  They have sales and service representation throughout the United States and they back their products with parts and labor warranties.  What you need to determine is whether Steamist is right for you...

In addition to quality, you should select your equipment based on what fills your unique need.  You should consider the look and finishes of the exposed control and steam head, pressurized draining, remote controls, inclusive room features (i.e. lighting, music, and aroma), generator size, steam line length, price, and preheat options when deciding on the equipment for you.

This equipment is an investment in your physical, psychological, and emotional wellbeing and should be selected based on what will provide you the most benefit.  I would recommend exploring the features available and what they mean for you by speaking with a Steam Bath Specialist.  They can help you select the right equipment, sell you the equipment, support you and your contractor throughout the project, and be your source for any future needs or concerns.

Ok, so I called the guys that you recommended, and they were very helpful. Thanks!

HOWEVER, I'm still a little worried about the new aromasense unit, as, according to the customer service person, it is new on the market.

Have you heard any feedback on this particular aroma pump? I may consider another pump, (the Aroma mist?? pump) instead, if I can't get anu user feedback.

At the current time, there is no available feedback on the new Steamist AromaSense unit which works only with the TSG Series steam bath generators.  It has only been available for a few months now.

The AromaMist Pump has been on the market roughly 5 years and was specifically designed for this precise use.  Most of the "aroma pumps" available today use technology designed for dispensing soap, shampoo, and conditioner rather than aroma oils.  Since there is both a residential and commercial version of this pump, you can probably call Accurate Industries for references...
