Hi! I'm thinking of putting a fold-up or fold-down seat in my steam shower, but I can't find one that seems to be very deep. I don't want to sit like a bean pole while I'm taking a steam, but it looks like I may have to. I wish I had a bench, but it's too late to build one in. I really just want to be able to lean back a little bit and really relax.

Any suggestions?

It's never too late to add a bench!  Aside from remodeling a bit, you can get a custom length fold-down teak bench which mounts to the wall and can fold up and out of the way when not in use.
