Hi all,

I'm a local handyman and few years back I built and installed a steam shower for my client.  I also installed an AI-5 Aromamist aroma pump with a control mounted on the inside of the shower.  We are having an issue with the control...it no longer lights up.  The customer cannot tell if its on or off.  Could someone help me trouble shoot this?

Does the pump still work and the only issue is they cannot tell since the control LED does not light up?
If you plug the pump directly into a standard wall outlet, does the pump work?

Hi.  Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.  When I plug the pump directly into the outlet, the pump works, but still no light on the control.  What next?

Does the pump activate from using the control button inside the shower and the only issue is that the control does not light up anymore?

Hi again.  When pressing the control inside the shower, the pump doesn't turn on and the control light doesn't go on.  But when the pump is plugged directly into the outlet, it works.  I wont' be back here for a couple days, so whats next?

Purchase a new control kit control box.  This is the grey box that plugs into the wall and the pump plugs into this box.
Contact a SteamSaunaBath associate at 800-707-2862 and tell them you need a new ISC Box, item# 130-K0035 which runs around $100.00.
Unless the control button inside the shower seems to be worn out and has cracks in it.  Then I would go for the keypad replacement kit which will allow you to splice the new control to the cable already existing in your wall.  Item# SSL-H158 which runs around $60.00
