I have a customer with a Steamist SM-79
circa 5/91
serial number S79-12446 that needs a new PC board. The one in the unit is a LLC-1100 3K. I cannot find this anywhere. Is there  a replacement board available?

Thanks for the fast response. Now I have another question. I have a 3 prong probe but there are only 2 lugs on the PC board to attach the wires to. What do I do next?

You can purchase the 3-prong probe or the 2-prong probe

3-Prong Probe

2-Prong Probe

The customer already has the 3 prong probe and did not know which 2 wires to attach to the PC board.
I checked with the expert at Steamist; Mike Rempl and this was his response.

For the last 10+ years we stopped using the 3 wire probes. For the last 18+ years, even on the old systems with 3 wire probes, on the circuit board, internally we only used 2 of the 3 probes.

Here is how they need to connect it:

P5 on pcb = Gray wire = long rod (inside the tank).

P3 on pcb = White wire = short rod (inside the tank).

P4 on pcb = Not Used (Black wire was connected here).

This is it!
