The 18kW Amerec AX18 dual steam shower generator with warm start is designed for home steam rooms up to 700 adjusted cubic feet (ACF). The Amerec AX18 is made up of dual generators in tandem (two 9kW generators).

The Amerec AX18 dual steam shower generator is designed for home steam rooms up to 700 adjusted cubic feet (ACF).
The Amerec AX18 is constructed of durable and corrosion-resistant stainless-steel components. The unit features a stainless-steel tank, professional-grade removable heating elements, durable electronic components, and an electronic water-level control system.
Amerec AX Series generators are engineered to provide superior and consistent steam bathing experiences. The AX18 steam unit offers the Warm Start feature which reduces heating time and maintains an even water temperature. The generator is equipped with a Sequential Temperature Control which ensures a consistent flow of soft steam.
The compact size of the steam shower unit installs conveniently out of sight in closets, vanities, cabinets, and other similar locations.
The Amerec AX 18 18kW (two 9kw steam bath generators) are available in 240V (9016-918) and 208V (9016-919) and can be field-wired for single-phase and three-phase configurations.
The AX18 generator requires the use of an Elite, Pure2.0, A3, Olympic, or Cascade control package for operation. genControl packages allow you to adjust features such as temperature and bathing duration. The Elite control can be paired with the AmerecConnect app and features Intelligent Start technology which coordinates heating time with desired bath start time, saving water, time, and energy.
We recommend the addition of the available Amerec AutoDrain Systems (1) per steam generator, with your AX18. The Auto Drain System automatically cleans the generator tank after each steam bathing session to prevent lime build-up and calcification of the unit.
The Amerec AX18 generators carries a limited lifetime warranty and is fully serviceable. Amerec AX steam generators are UL, CSA, CE, and ETL listed for your safety.
Amerec AX residential steam showers can be linked in tandem to accommodate steam rooms larger than 700 cubic feet.
