Stainless Steel Grille

The exhaust fan that comes with the Atmospheric 410 boasts a durable and corrosion resistant stainless steel grille that compliments any steam bath environment. The grille is crafted from concentrically fastened brushed stainless steel circles that are separated by precise space for both ideal airflow and stylish design.

Damper

Motorized Damper

The in-shower exhaust fan features a motorized and tensioned damper with a waterproof pressure seal gasket. The damper acts as a barrier between the steam bath and the outside environment. Once the in-shower ventilation system is powered on, the damper on the exhaust fan will open allowing heat and moisture to be drawn out of the steam room. When turned off, the damper closes and prevents a further exchange of air between the inside and outside environment. The insulated duct work beyond the damper is left open to the outside air, allowing evaporation of any residual moisture.

Exterior Fan

Exterior Wall or Roof Fan

An exterior wall or roof mount waterproof exhaust fan is an essential component to any steam bath ventilation system. The Atmospheric 410 system ships with a state-of-the-art stainless fan that helps balance heat levels and remove excess vapor from the steam shower environment. Unlike typical bath or shower fans that push moisture-laden air, the Atmospheric 410 wall and roof fans draws the air completely outside the home.

The Atmospheric 410 ventilation fan is virtually silent and will not interrupt the steam bathing experience. In fact, it’s easy to forget this fan is on throughout the bathing session. For this reason, the system includes an automatic 20 minute shutoff feature. This ventilation system is U.L. listed for wet location use and makes a perfect addition to any steam bath environment.
