The Perfect Steam Sauna
IKI electric sauna heaters and wood-burning sauna stoves are cherished for their ability to create the ideal löyly sauna. A cornerstone of the traditional Finnish sauna, löyly describes the steam produced by pouring water onto hot sauna rocks.
With IKI, bathers can customize the intensity of their löyly, from a gentle, soothing warmth to a vigorous, invigorating steam. Each sauna unit provides a versatile bathing experience by allowing water to be poured on the top or sides of the heater. This unique feature makes IKI heaters a top choice for avid sauna enthusiasts.
IKI Electric Sauna Heaters
IKI electric heaters blend elegant modern design with precise craftmanship. Large contact areas between the sauna rocks and resistors ensure rapid and efficient heating during each sauna visit. Their open design provides optimal air flow for the most consistent and comfortable sauna sessions.
IKI electric sauna heaters are designed to power saunas with dimensions up to 565 cubic feet.

IKI Wood-Burning Sauna Stoves
IKI wood sauna stoves provide an authentic Finnish sauna experience! Designed for quick heat-up times, these heaters reach full temperatures in less than an hour. The furnace’s spacious design accommodates large firewood loads, and its efficient ventilation optimizes wood consumption.

History of IKI Sauna
IKI’s history traces back to the mid-1990’s when heat transfer engineer Jouni Kerrman began to develop sauna stoves as a personal hobby. Kerrman was passionate about creating the highest quality bathing experiences. He pioneered a revolutionary sauna heater design, enclosing sauna rocks within an open mesh frame.
Kerrman created the very first IKI wood sauna stove in 1996 and established the company IKI Kiuas in 1997. The open structure and large stone capacity quickly became staples of IKI sauna stoves, renowned for their exceptional steam quality.
Over the ensuing years, IKI developed a variety of unique sauna heater models and produced over 35,000 heaters by hand at their master facility in Pieksämäki, Finland. IKI’s Pillar Series sauna heaters, introduced in 2002, gained international recognition for their superior heat distribution. In 2015, IKI expanded their product line with the Corner and Wall-Series, offering an ideal solution for smaller saunas with limited space.
Today, IKI products are cherished across the globe for their ability to recreate the authentic Finnish sauna experience, bringing warmth, relaxation, and well-being to homes and public bathing spaces alike.
